Stella:
The latin word for "star".The earliest use of this name was as a reference to the Virgin Mary, Stella Maris, meaning Star of the Sea. Sir Philip Sidney used the name in 1591 in his sonnet series Astrophel and Stella, a celebration of his love for Lady Penelope Devereux.
Stella Clementine Bauer in her Emily christening gown
A beautiful, traditional portrait of Miss Stella Clementine Bauer,
a sweet young lady from California, USA.

Stella and her twin sister, Juliet, were blessed on 1st May 2005,
in matching "Emily" christening gowns.

This delightful picture of Stella was sent to us by her mother, Merritt, who says :

"The dresses are breathtaking and I hope will be worn by many future generations in the Bauer family."
