Irish Gaelic for "small and wise". From the name of a river in Ireland which had its own goddess, named Sinann or Sionan.

Shannon was born on 12th December 1998 and was christened in June 1999.
Shannon's mother, Tara, sent us this picture of her beautiful little daughter on her special day.
