Mary :
From the Hebrew meaning "wished for child". Originally considered too holy for general use and not used in Britain until the 13th century, Mary is now the most popular and enduring of all girls' names.

This pretty young lady with the bright eyes and beautiful smile
is Miss Mary Marianne Carsberg from England.

Mary was born at 8.20 pm on Sunday 27th October 2002, weighing 7lb 4oz
and was baptised, together with her father, Sam, on Sunday 18th May 2003

Mary's mother, Ruth, sent us this charming picture of Mary in her "Lucy" christening dress and says:
"I am so proud of our daughter ...but then every mother is proud of their own!"

We think that Ruth is quite justified in being proud of her beautiful little daughter !
