Lucy
The English form of the Latin "Lucia", meaning "light". In Roman times, the name was often used for a child born at dawn. St. Lucy, a Sicilian martyr and the patron saint of those with eye problems, was greatly revered in the middle ages.

Miss Lucy Dallas, a pretty young lady from Devon, England.
Lucy was born on 31st August 2004 and was christened on 20th June 2005.
This charming picture of Lucy, enjoying her Special Day in her "Marguerite" christening dress and hat,
was sent to us by her mother, Patty, who tells us that Lucy's surname, "Dallas" comes from the small village in Scotland, which gave its name to the large city in Texas, USA.
