The English form of the Latin "Lucia", meaning "light". In Roman times, the name was often used for a child born at dawn. St. Lucy, a Sicilian martyr and the patron saint of those with eye problems, was greatly revered in the middle ages.

Lucy was christened on 4th July 2004.
Lucy's mother, Elaine, sent us this picture of her pretty little daughter, enjoying her Special Day
