A scandinavian form of "Christine" from the greek meaning "A Christian", "Anointed".

Nicole:
A french feminine form of "Nicholas" from the Greek meaning "Victory of the People". Saint Nicholas, also known as "Santa Claus", is the patron saint of children, his feast day is 6th December.
