Isabella
Originally a Spanish form of "Elizabeth", meaning "God's promise". The name was imported into France and England in the middle ages. It was a royal name, borne by Queen Isabella of England (1296-1358), daughter of Philip lV of France. Williiam Shakespeare used the name for the heroine of his play, "Measure for Measure".

A thoughtful moment on her Special Day !
Another delightful portrait of Isabella, in her "Antoinette" christening gown and bonnet.

Isabella's mother, Paula, sent us these lovely pictures of her beautiful little daughter and says:-

" My daughter, Isabella Rose Adipietro looked so beautful on her Christening day. I just wanted to thank you so much for the beautiful gown. Everyone thought she looked stunning. Even the Priest loved the gown, he asked if it was in my family for generations! "

" I am sure it will be used for generations to come, and I hope that one day I will be able to see my granddaughter in it! "
