Jackson
Old English, originally meaning "son of Jack". In the USA the name is often used in honour of President Andrew Jackson and General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. Jackson Pollock was an American abstract expressionist painter.
Benjamin
From the Hebrew, meaning "son of the right hand". In the Old Testament, Benjamin was the youngest and favourite son of Jacob and Rachel. Benjamin Disraeli, Earl of Beaconsfield (1804-1881), novelist and prime minister, was the most famous bearer of the name in Victorian times.

Jackson was born on 8th August 2003 and Benjamin was born on 7th December 2003
They were baptised on 18th July 2004
Jackson and Benjamin are first cousins, as their fathers are brothers.
These delightful pictures of two happy little boys were sent to us by Benjamin's father, Gene, who tells us:

"It was a rainy, but beautiful baptism day. The boys looked wonderful"
