This pretty christening outfit, one of the latest designs by Paula Finnerty, is ideal for a baby boy or a baby girl.

A simple, unlined puritan style christening gown, in ivory silk dupion, is topped by a removable lacey smock trimmed with satin ribbon, which fastens at the back with 3 satin buttons.

The christening gown has a peter pan collar and the front of the bodice is decorated with rows of pin tucks and braid.

A matching hat completes the outfit.
